AxHxLx wishes you a Merry Christmas, we'll have new shows posted soon!!

12.18.2003

Our gig at the Osprey in Medford on Saturday didn't begin as planned with Joshua stuck in a snowstorm with one wiper on I-5 with Fill's gear, but it ended up alright. The Rabit and I made up material as we went and layed down about 2.5 hours of improvised rock thunder. Thanks goes out to the raucous crowd, Matt V. for the P.A. and the bartenders who kept us "hydrated". Another Matt in the crowd brought his bass in for Phil to play a few songs with us, both Matt (21) & Phil (29 and 13/12ths) were celebrating their respective B-days in style. If anyone has a recording / pictures of the show I'd like to check em' out. Hope everyone has a great holiday season, we'll be back with more rock next year.

Apparently we got some love on 94.7 NRK last week, if we'd known about it we could have reinacted that scene from 'That Thing You Do". So we've been working up another 23 song mega-set for the superfans down south. AxHxLx will be rolling into Medford tomorrow evening for a rock spectacle the townsfolk won't soon forget. So clean out your guns tonight and come watch rock music at the Osprey Brew Pub tomorrow.

We have survived the Thanksgiving festivities and are ready to get back to the rock. We'll be making our debut performance in Southern Oregon on Dec. 13th, this will most likely be our last show of the year so bring the masses. Fill will be celebrating his ?? birthday and he's invited everyone except that one creepy girl. We busted out some old hits and some unplayed material for the bartender and our girlfriends at the Fox & Firkin on the 20th. Don't worry we recorded the mayhem on video for our Behind the Music. See you chaps and chapettes on the 13th, I've got some business to take care of.

8.29.2003

My apologies for the lack of updates but something grand is being created, a new band website will make its debut sometime next month. We've got a couple new shows next month with some kick ass bands so be sure to attend. It has been pure chaos around the band house as Phil has moved in setting off the Chinese fire drill for rooms. I'll see what I can do about that forum speed. Have a good long weekend everyone, I know I will.

8.09.2003

Thanks to everyone that came out to the Roseland show last night. If the Roseland show was the first time you checked us out we'd like to hear from you via e-mail or leave us a review(in the links section). DO NOT GO TO THE SHOW IN CORVALLIS TO SEE US TONIGHT, THERE HAS BEEN A COMMUNICATION BREAKDOWN. Next live show will be in Portland at the Mt. Tabor Pub. To the basement we go, recording our next masterpiece.

7.28.2003

The band van ate it on I-205 on Saturday preventing us from reaching our show in Salem. Our apologizes to the rock lovers from our capitol city. Tickets are still for sale for the August 8th Roseland show, contact a band member to get yours.

7.20.2003

We have another big show at the Roseland Theater on Friday August 8th, tickets will be $12 and we need to sell 100 of them. If you buy them we will bring you tidings of good music and the joy of rock. Our new CD has been mastered and is in the final stages, a release date will be set soon. Good luck to Erick Banks, one of our most devoted fans since the beginning, as he travels to Taiwan for a year to teach English. You are now the official Taiwan connection.

7.04.2003

Happy 4th of July!! Don't blow your hands off.

7.02.2003

The Bamboo Kids are stuck in California, thus our show tonight at Ash Street has been cancelled, thus you should spend the night doing something to make yourself a better person. We'll spend the night mixing our new album to make our songs more badass. Our album will be mastered on July 10th at Freq Mastering and then it's off to the presses.

The time has cometh for rock!! To all those that shall witness this event be prepared for the furious rock thunder we are destined to unleash this evening. The Roseland Theater is a worthy venue for such an undertaking. shhhhh... Now you must rest and prepareth yourselves for what is to come.

4.20.2003

Thanks for everyone who came out to support the Bumblebees last night and a big middle finger for the person who broke out our windows and stole a guitar. Let the karma wheel roll on.

4.16.2003

We have a show at the Roseland Theater in Portland on May 17th so get all the chronies together and help us put some bodies in there. Kevin is coming out of retirement to help us throw down some rock n' roll mayhem. Tickets are $12 and can be purchased from us sometime soon.

ps. Joshua's Dr. Z amp has arrived, let the recording carry on.

4.13.2003

Thanks to everyone that came out to see us at the Fox & Firkin as the Bumblebees last night, the highlight of the evening was when the sound guy & The Rabit joined forces to throw down some guitar fury. Ricky was tearing it up on the casio keyboard and I was thrashing as usual. It was truly a campaign of shock & awe. It was amazing we all made it to the gig in the first place after enduring the greatest rain storm I have seen in quite some time. We are building the official AxHxLx ark just in case this happens again.

4.04.2003

THE SHOW ON SATURDAY APRIL 5th IS CANCELLED!! We won't be there. New songs will be played next week. Rock lives.

3.22.2003

We don't have a show this weekend? This is unheard of!! We took this opportunity to take our rock to the bowling alley with the all-time high for the evening going to Kevin & I with a 120. We'll be back in action next week with a show at DV8 in Portland on Thursday with Waylaid. I'll be updating the webpage soon to make it official.

3.14.2003

I've just redone the photo section of our page so you can check us out in our "early" days. Kevin, The Rabit & I just got back from a rock show that we weren't playing in at Berbati's Pan. Pleasure Forever, Bluebird & a couple more bands put on a good show. I don't think I'll go to work this morning, I'm just going to sleep in so I can bring the thunder to our show in Seattle on Saturday.

3.02.2003

One more mini-tour in the books, thanks to everyone that came out and watched the mayhem that is our show on Friday & Saturday. Only two casualties (One bass speaker from an Ian stage dive & one forehead). A big thanks to Waylaid for coming in on short notice and kickin' some ass. We've got 4 new songs you can listen to on our website & some press reviews you can check out. Our individual pages are next up for updating so keep checking, any questions or comments on the new look can be sent to Jeremy.

2.24.2003

The new website is getting closer to completion, soon it will own all other band sites.

2.08.2003

I was visited by Delilah yesterday, it is the end of an era. The Triangle will be rockin tonight, come check it out, we guarantee to leave you satisfied.

1.26.2003

The band computer got a virus and is out of commision for the moment, it deleted all the band pics I have amassed over the years. In unrelated news we're going to have a contest for the cover design of our new album which is due out around May. The winner will recieve a free copy of the new album as well as an official AxHxLx t-shirt. I'll post some more details soon.
